If you’re looking for Salt Spring Island Accommodation we’d be delighted to have you stay with us at Cosy Woodpecker Cottage B&B.  We’re located 5km north of Ganges in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Cosy Woodpecker Cottage is a brand new 2 bedroom raspberry red cottage with great views over the property. It’s completely self contained and fully equipped with two gorgeous bedrooms, sitting room with wrap-around sofa, wood-burning stove, a soothing bathroom with ‘zen’ soaker tub, 30ft wide covered deck and more. All for you to stretch out, relax and enjoy your stay here on beautiful, tranquil Salt Spring Island.

About the cottage setting: The cottage is nestled at the edge of a woodland of arbutus and fir. Guests are welcome to explore the property - 5 acres of mixed natural woodland with a beautiful rocky ridge that you can climb in search of peace, wildlife or the old camping platform! Two acres have been cleared and fenced which provides a delicious harvest of fruits, berries and vegetables as we love to grow as much of our own food as we can. Sunny, light and spacious, with herbs, strawberries and raspberries right outside your front door -  just help yourselves!

Breakfast: More than a holiday cottage, we also provide local, homemade and organic (where possible) breakfast materials which you prepare yourself in our fully equipped kitchen. Example breakfasts include eggs from Ragged Azz Ranch, bread from Penny’s Pantry, fresh home-picked berries (eg. strawberries, tayberries, blackberries), organic pancake mix and more. AND coffee from awesome local boutique coffee roasting company Mount Maxwell Roasting!

Nature: The property is also a haven for the birds and bees. There are 5 different types of woodpecker, 2 types of hummingbirds and a host of other birds and animals including owls, the gorgeous mini Pacific Tree Frog and more.
